Below Grade Parking
The Re-Systems Group offers a cost competitive and permanent solution to all water ingress issues in underground parking lots. Instead of simply diverting the leak to another location which can cause structural damage, or injecting epoxy into the cracks - a temporary solution - Turbo Seal will create a brand new waterproofing membrane that guarantees no more leaks in the injected area. Our solution is long term and effectively restores the damaged membrane that is causing the water ingress.
Furthermore, we are able to completely restore the entire membrane without having to remove the concrete/soil from above ground. There is no interruption of lifestyle of the tenants as well as the disruption/noise from concrete removal.
In the following clip, our injection team is repairing a leak issue stemming from an above ground water feature. We are actually repairing the failed membrane between the slabs and creating a brand new waterproofing protection course. We guarantee that the area that we have injected will NEVER again leak.
Current Marketplace Options:
-
Excavation / Replacing failed membrane
- Expense: Excavating or uncovering underground parking is very costly in and of itself in addition to the cost of removing old materials and applying a new membrane. There is also the cost of repairing the landscaping that is damaged while excavating.
- Disruption / Noise: Excavating necessarily causes a ruckus and impedes full access to the structure. In some cases it can obstruct the use of parking spots. These disruptions can continue for fairly significant time periods as holes are dug and filled back in.
-
Epoxy Injection:
- It is a temporary solution: While it might fix the leak issue, concrete structures move several hundred times a day and the same crack will reappear.
- Cost comparison: The Turbo Seal injection system is cost competitive with epoxy injection while permanently fixing the issue.
-
Drip Pans/PVC Pipes:
- Doesn’t solve the problem: Although they may stop water from dripping on your head, the water moving intrusion might interfere with the building’s structural integrity and the pans/pipes are usually eyesores.
- Long term expense: Even though they might be inexpensive at the time, the pans/pipes need to be constantly maintained.
